The History of Factory Sales Agency and It's Management

In 1954, Joe Fowler, after starting his own company in 1950, joined forces with Howard Fisher to create Factory Sales Agency. George Patterson hopped on board in 1956 and opened our first sister office in Memphis and took the first step of making the dream a reality of covering the whole state of Tennessee. 1960 soon came to be seen as a booming year when Bill Roberts left Taffel Electric Supply and opened our second satellite office in Knoxville and the family grew with addition of Randal Sands in our Nashville Office. The illustrious team enlarged during the next years with the coming of Jerry Tate in 1970 in Knoxville, Glenn Johnson in 1976, Steve Stephens in 1979,and David Burnette in 1985, all three joining our Nashville team. Our Chattanooga office opened under the direction of Jim Jacobs in 1986 and completed the mission of serving the entire Volunteer state as well as portions of Virginia, Georgia, Mississippi, and Arkansas.If you need to see our territory map, please click here.
